Cellphone companies bombard the market with sky-high prices and astonishing new specs each year. If you just rely on the release ceremonies of new smartphones, you would probably think that no tech can compare to what they just released. The truth is that, beneath all the glitter, the phones are not much different from the last couple of years. Phones from 2016 are still capable enough to give you dependable performance and still support most modern applications, especially the essentials; graphics, CPU, and storage. Check out the superb cellphones below:
iPhone 8
Most people do not know this, but the iPhone 8 and X were released just a few months apart. The iPhone 8 does lack some of the modern styling ques of an edge-to-edge display and ultra-wide cameras. However, it still comes with a decent processor and a great camera for the price.
Galaxy S9
Samsung’s range has seen very gradual refinement over the years. Even though the S21 is their latest phone, the S10 and even the S9 are worth considering. S9 comes with a robust processor, a beautiful curved glass display, and a 5.8-inch screen with HDR10.
Google Pixel 3
If you are the type that loves the raw android experience, just as Google intended, then the Google Pixel might serve you well. While there might be a slight difference in the screen size and performance, the gap is not that wide. The Pixel 3 is still considered one of the best camera phones.
OnePlus 6T
The OnePlus 6T offers most if not all of the features you need from a modern-day smartphone. It comes with a fantastic camera and a large 6.28-inch screen that is still perfect for today’s standards. The OnePlus 6T charges super fast. You will have enough battery for the day in less than an hour!
